Wallpaper - Time Lapse I

Our Time Lapse I wallpaper brings together abstract shapes, oil-painted marks, and collage-inspired layering from artist Cheryl Warrick. What we particularly like about this design is the balance between earthy brown tones, delicate textures, and crisp white areas, giving the wall an artistic and thoughtfully assembled character. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design offers an engaging focal point for residential interiors.

In the room

We see this design working especially well in a living room, dining area, or a quiet study where the layered collage elements have room to be appreciated up close. On a wider, uninterrupted wall, the interplay between the organic forms and painted gestures creates an expansive, gallery-like presence without overwhelming the room. In an entryway or hallway staircase, the rhythmic composition adds visual depth and movement as you walk past. Because the palette balances grounded earth tones with open white space, it sits comfortably in both bright rooms with generous daylight and moodier spaces lit by soft table lamps.

Styling it

For an eclectic or contemporary interior, we would pair this wallpaper with furnishings that complement its artistic composition. Rounded furniture forms and warm, natural wood finishes echo the organic shapes in the artwork, while clean-lined painted pieces allow the collage motifs to stand out. Simple earthenware accents and matte ceramics create a tactile connection to the painted textural marks on the wall.

Colour combinations

The design features a considered palette of earthy brown tones, warm neutrals, and brilliant white accents. To build a cohesive room around it, we suggest continuing warm stone, sandy beige, or soft taupe onto adjacent walls and skirting boards. Rich walnut or espresso tones in furniture echo the deeper marks in the wallpaper, while pure white or off-white woodwork keeps the surrounding space fresh and crisp.
