Wallpaper - Coastal Sketch II

Our Coastal Sketch II wallpaper brings a maritime landscape into focus through fine ink line work and gentle washes of tone. Created by artist Danhui Nai, the composition depicts a classic coastal scene featuring a lighthouse standing on a rocky shore beneath seagulls gliding through open air. The palette is built on soft neutrals, cream, and quiet blues, giving the drawing an open, airy presence on the wall. Produced to order according to your wall dimensions, this PVC-free wallpaper features a subtle paper structure that complements the hand-drawn quality of the sketch.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully on a main feature wall in a bedroom behind the headboard, or along a broader living room wall where the scenic composition has room to breathe. The open sky and horizontal line of the shore help create a sense of expanse, making it equally fitting for a calm home office, study, or guest room. In an entryway or dining room, the understated ink style introduces character without overwhelming the space.

Styling it

The classic coastal feel of this design pairs naturally with traditional or New England-inspired interiors. We suggest balancing the fine sketched lines with warm, understated natural textures:

• Choose light or warm wood tones, such as weathered ash, pale oak, or whitewashed timber, to mirror the maritime mood.
• Introduce tactile textiles in relaxed linen, soft cotton, or woven wool in off-white, sand, and muted sea tones.
• Keep surrounding furniture profiles tailored and classic, avoiding overly heavy or hyper-modern silhouettes that might clash with the delicate drawing.

Colour combinations

The motif itself combines quiet cream, warm neutral whites, soft beige, and faded marine blues. To create a cohesive palette, we recommend pairing this wallpaper with warm off-whites, gentle stone greys, or muted nautical navy accents on adjacent painted walls, woodwork, and cabinetry.
