Wallpaper - Chic or Treat IV

Created by Veronique Charron, this festive wallpaper design centres on a classic witch hat framed like a vintage textile panel, surrounded by playful stars, dotted borders, and warm pumpkin orange stripes. In the room

Because the motif pairs a defined central illustration with broad vertical stripes, it functions brilliantly as a focal feature in a child’s bedroom, nursery, or playroom. The vertical striped background helps draw the eye upwards, giving walls a feeling of height while anchoring the room in warm, seasonal tones. We find this design works particularly well on an open, relatively uninterrupted wall where the central illustrated vignette remains clear of tall wardrobes or high furniture. On a feature wall behind a low bed frame, a cot, or a reading corner, it establishes an inviting, imaginative atmosphere.

Styling it

To complement the rustic, cottage-inspired quality of the artwork, we would look towards simple furniture shapes and natural finishes. Light or honey-toned wood pieces sit comfortably alongside the warm pumpkin stripes without overpowering the decorative detail.
