Wallpaper - Arizona Landscape - Sunset Landscape Series

Our Arizona Landscape wallpaper, designed by Wai Collective, brings a painterly desert sunset into the home through expressive watercolour washes and striking silhouettes. At the centre of the composition, a luminous sun casts a warm glow over swirling clouds in rich purple, vivid orange, and soft blue tones, while rocky hills and tall saguaro cacti anchor the foreground. The fluid paint transitions give the desert vista a soft yet dramatic presence on the wall. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design is straightforward to hang and easy to adapt to your space.

In the room

Because of the sweeping horizontal horizon and the strong central glow of the sunset, we see this working particularly well across a wider, uninterrupted wall. In a living room behind a low-profile sofa, or across a main bedroom wall behind the bedhead, the full panoramic sky has room to unfold without being broken up by tall furniture. The rich tonal shifts between the deep purple silhouettes and the radiant orange sky also make this wallpaper an engaging backdrop in a study or home office, where the expansive desert vista adds depth to the room. For an entryway or hall, placing it along a main perspective wall immediately establishes a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Styling it

When decorating around this design, we prefer keeping large furniture relatively grounded and understated so the vibrant sky remains the primary focal point. Low-backed seating in quiet neutral fabrics allows the painted hills and cactus silhouettes to remain fully visible.

To complement the Southwestern character and artistic watercolour quality of the mural wallpapers, pair the scene with warm, natural materials such as terracotta planters, woven leather accents, or unpolished ceramic vessels. Keeping surrounding lines clean and uncluttered prevents the expressive sky from feeling overwhelming in everyday spaces.

Colour combinations

The palette within our wallpaper is defined by contrasting temperatures, pairing cool deep purple and soft blue with radiant orange, golden yellows, and earthy terracotta tones.

When choosing paint colours for adjoining walls, woodwork, or built-in shelving, we recommend pulling directly from these earthy undertones. A muted sand, warm plaster, or desert clay tone on surrounding surfaces will seamlessly balance the vibrancy of the sunset. Alternatively, pairing the wallpaper with a deep plum or charcoal on adjacent trim creates a moody, intentional frame that highlights the glowing horizon.
