Wallpaper - Red Rocks

In our Red Rocks wallpaper, artist Silvia Vassileva captures the raw, sculpted presence of desert canyon formations through painterly brushstrokes and layered earth tones. Broad strokes of terracotta, burnt orange, ochre, and warm cream build a sun-drenched landscape with a strong sense of depth and horizontal rhythm. The composition balances grounded rock silhouettes with an airy, pale sky, giving the motif an artistic and expressive feel without overwhelming the room. Like all our mural wallpapers, this design is made to measure to your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We love how this landscape design acts as a natural focal point on a wider, uninterrupted wall. In a living room behind a sofa or across the main wall in a dining room, the sweeping canyon shapes have enough space to unfold their full panoramic scale. Because the composition features heavier terracotta and ochre tones along the lower half transitioning to lighter cream tones above, it naturally anchors a room without making it feel closed in. In a home office, study, or bedroom, our wall murals bring a grounded warmth that feels calm and connected to nature. For an entryway or hallway, using the motif across a prominent wall immediately sets an inviting, earthy tone as you step inside.

Styling it

The warm, southwestern-inspired palette and painterly texture of our wallpaper pair naturally with rustic and contemporary interiors alike. We suggest keeping surrounding furniture relatively clean-lined so the artistic brushwork on the wall remains the primary visual statement.

• Combine the warm terracotta and burnt orange tones with mid-toned woods, such as warm oak or teak, to echo the natural desert feel.
• Introduce textured upholstery and neutral textiles in off-white, oat, or unbleached canvas to balance the rich colour weight of the lower canyon forms.
• Choose blackened iron, bronze, or matte black accents on lighting and table frames to pick up on the deeper shadow lines in the artwork.

Colour combinations

Our design is built around rich, sun-warmed earth tones paired with soft, quiet neutrals. At its heart are deep terracotta, rust, burnt orange, and warm ochre, grounded by deep earthy brown shadows and lifted by soft cream and pale stone in the sky.

For surrounding walls and woodwork, we recommend staying within this warm tonal family. Soft cream, warm beige, or light sand on adjacent walls create a seamless transition that lets the wallpaper lead. If you prefer more definition, painting trim or interior doors in a rich terracotta or muted chocolate brown creates a striking, intentional frame around the mural.
