Wallpaper - Floral Art Deco Aura, Walnut Dust

Our Floral Art Deco Aura wallpaper brings together tall, symmetrical arches, stylised fan-shaped blooms, and slender crossing stems outlined in deep charcoal. Created by Imary, the motif balances dusty pink floral clusters against a warm ground of walnut brown, taupe, and soft cream. The rhythmic, botanical repeat gives the design a distinct heritage character with subtle Arts and Crafts and Art Deco influences. Like all our mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper featuring a subtle surface structure, making it straightforward to hang while adding timeless decorative depth to your walls.

In the room

In a dining room or living room, we love how the tall arched geometry draws the eye upward and gives the space a refined sense of structure. The repeating symmetry works exceptionally well across a wider feature wall, such as behind a dining table or behind a low-profile sofa, where the full rhythm of the stems and blooms can unfold uninterrupted. In more intimate areas like a study, library, or bedroom, the warm walnut and taupe tones create a cosy, enveloping atmosphere. For smaller spaces like an entryway, powder room, or dressing room, the structured repeat brings tailored visual interest without overwhelming the setting.

Styling it

The balanced geometry and warm neutral ground make this pattern particularly rewarding to style across classic and heritage-inspired interiors. We suggest pairing it with medium to dark wood finishes, such as walnut or stained oak, which echo the deeper tones in the backdrop.

To complement the delicate charcoal outlines and vintage botanical forms, consider incorporating unlacquered brass or antique bronze hardware and lighting fixtures. When choosing soft furnishings, matte textures like natural linen drapery and woven wool rugs in oatmeal, biscuit, or muted rose harmonise effortlessly with the wallpaper rather than competing with its ornate detailing.

Colour combinations

The palette within our design centres around earthy walnut brown, warm taupe, and soft cream, accented by dusty pink blossoms and charcoal line work. To create a cohesive look across adjacent painted surfaces, we recommend warm off-whites, soft biscuit, or light taupe for surrounding walls and woodwork. If you prefer deeper contrast, a rich charcoal or deep espresso brown on doors and architectural trim picks up the graphic outlines of the botanical stems, anchoring the entire room beautifully.
