Wallpaper - Poolside Vibes I

Our Poolside Vibes I wallpaper by Dina June brings a sunny, retro Palm Beach atmosphere to the wall with its flat graphic illustration style and lively palette. The scene centres on clear sky-blue swimming water set against bright pink tiles, complemented by lush green palm foliage, a vivid red umbrella, and figures enjoying a swim. What we particularly like is the balance between the bold geometric surface of the pool deck and the organic shapes of the tropical leaves. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, our wallpapers are designed to be straightforward to hang while adding a spirited 1960s holiday feel to your interior.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well as an expressive feature wall in a bedroom, bathroom, poolhouse, or vacation home. Because the illustration carries strong visual narrative and vivid colour blocks, giving it an open, relatively uninterrupted wall allows the full pool scene and tropical foliage to establish the room's mood. In a guest bedroom or summer house, placing our mural wallpapers behind the bed headboard creates a cheerful backdrop that instantly defines the space. The crisp contrast between the blue water and pink tiled surfaces holds its clarity nicely in rooms with plenty of natural daylight, while warmer ambient lighting in the evening softens the vibrant tones for a cosy, relaxed atmosphere.

Styling it

To let the artwork take centre stage, we would pair this design with clean-lined furniture and simple silhouettes inspired by mid-century modern or retro coastal interiors. Rattan, light natural timber, or crisp white painted pieces keep the surrounding room feeling airy and balanced without competing against the pool tiles and foliage. For accents, introducing subtle touches of warm brass or matte red echoing the umbrella adds cohesion across the space. Keeping larger soft furnishings relatively quiet in unpatterned cream or soft off-white helps frame the mural wallpaper while letting its graphic character lead the room.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper pairs a bright sky blue and deep pool turquoise with vibrant pink tiles, leafy greens, and a bold red accent. Around the mural, we suggest working with soft neutral backdrops like chalky off-white or light sand on adjacent walls and woodwork to allow the lively primary tones to stand out naturally. If you prefer a richer, more playful scheme, echoing the leafy green or soft blush pink in small doses on painted furniture, cabinetry, or ceramic accessories creates a cohesive link back to the illustration.
