Wallpaper - Pink Peonies

Our Pink Peonies wallpaper brings together lush floral blooms with the delicate, visible brushwork of an oil painting by artist Silvia Vassileva. Rich rose and soft pink tones unfold across a subtle neutral cream backdrop, creating an artistic floral composition with classic English country and cottage charm. The generous scale of the peony petals gives the pattern a soft, romantic character on the wall, balanced by leafy sage green accents. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings a serene, garden-inspired feel to any interior.

In the room

In a primary bedroom or guest room, we love positioning this design behind the bed to serve as an inviting, artful focal point. The painterly style and gentle contrast allow it to sit comfortably across a full feature wall without overwhelming the space. In a dining room or living room, the open composition of the peony blossoms works particularly well along wider, uninterrupted walls where the full painterly brushstrokes can be appreciated from across the room. For smaller, intimate areas like an entryway, study, or powder room, our floral mural wallpapers envelop the room in warm, botanical charm that feels both classic and fresh.

Styling it

To complement the painterly nature of the design, we suggest pairing it with traditional or heritage-led furnishings. Warm, mid-tone woods like cherry, walnut, or antique oak ground the soft floral palette and highlight its 19th-century still-life inspiration. Upholstered pieces in textured, unbleached linens or soft neutral velvets echo the cream background of the wallpaper, allowing the rose blooms to remain the visual hero of the room. Subtle brass or aged-bronze hardware and light fittings bring out the warmer undertones of the painting without competing with its delicate brushwork.

Colour combinations

The design centres on shades of soft rose pink, cream, and muted sage greens. When painting neighbouring walls or architectural trim, off-whites, warm creams, and gentle stone tones create a seamless, cohesive backdrop. If you prefer a richer contrast, pulling out a dusty rose or an earthy olive tone for woodwork, panelling, or decorative textiles beautifully echoes the botanical details in the artwork.
