Wallpaper - Accordion, Egg Wash

Our Accordion, Egg Wash wallpaper pairs a rhythmic chevron pattern with soft neutral tones, creating a folded, three-dimensional impression across the wall. Vertical columns of inward-pointing zigzag shapes alternate between warm beige, gentle yellow-tinted egg wash, and crisp white, giving the geometric line work an architectural, accordion-like movement. Drawing subtle cues from 1920s and 1930s Art Deco while remaining cleanly minimalist, this is one of our versatile wallpapers tailored to bring structured visual interest to a space. Each order is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

We especially like how the vertical rhythm of this design introduces height and order into residential spaces. In a dining room, living room, or hallway, the chevron structure provides a striking graphic backdrop without overwhelming the surrounding architecture. Because the contrast between the beige and white tones remains balanced and soft, the pattern works nicely across all four walls of a study or home office just as comfortably as it anchors a feature wall behind a bed or sofa. In areas with changing daylight, such as a bright morning entry or a quiet dressing room, the alternating angles catch the light in ways that accentuate the folded effect.

Styling it

When styling around this geometric design, we suggest balancing its sharp lines with softer, grounded interior elements:

• Pair the wallpaper with smooth, rounded furniture forms, such as curved occasional chairs or an oval dining table, to soften the strict geometry of the zigzag columns.
• Introduce tactile, matte textures like natural unbleached linen upholstery or a flat-weave wool rug to complement the clean graphic lines on the wall.
• Select mid-tone or dark timber furniture, such as walnut or warm oak, which anchors the pale beige tones and gives the room a grounded Art Deco or mid-century feel.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a quiet foundation of warm beige, soft yellow-white egg wash, and clean white. To complement these verified tones, we would look towards warm off-white or light stone paint for the ceiling and woodwork, keeping the overall envelope light and cohesive. If you want to introduce deeper contrast through larger furniture pieces or cabinetry, muted charcoal, rich olive green, or deep espresso brown will highlight the crisp geometry of the pattern without clashing with the beige base.
