Wallpaper - Pelargoniums

Our Pelargoniums wallpaper by Michael Clark brings the warmth of potted garden plants indoors through a vibrant watercolour paint drawing. Set against a luminous sunflower yellow wash, two terracotta pots hold leafy green pelargoniums topped with delicate soft pink blooms. The expressive brushwork, layered painterly textures, and rich warm tones give the still life composition an inviting, artisanal presence. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, making it straightforward to hang while creating a cheerful focal point in your home.

In the room

We love how this design brings character to everyday spaces without feeling overly formal. It works particularly well in a bright kitchen, a garden room, or a dining area where the warm yellow backdrop adds an uplifting, sunny atmosphere throughout the year. Because the motif is framed as a distinct still life with vertical plant stems, it sits beautifully above kitchen worktops, low credenzas, or dining tables where the pots remain visible. In a hallway, powder room, or home study, mural wallpapers like this can transform a smaller accent wall into an engaging visual feature that immediately welcomes anyone entering the space.

Styling it

The artistic, heritage feel of this artwork pairs naturally with classic cottage, English country, or rustic farmhouse interiors. We would balance the bold yellow background by styling the surrounding room with simple painted cabinetry in soft off-white, buttermilk, or muted sage. Natural terracotta accents, unglazed pottery, and simple wooden furniture in honeyed pine or warm oak reinforce the garden-inspired theme. Keep large upholstery and window dressings relatively calm in plain woven fabrics so the expressive painted leaves and blooms remain the main focus of the wall.

Colour combinations

The palette is led by the bold sunflower yellow wash, grounded by the earthy brick and terracotta tones of the pots, and balanced by rich moss greens and delicate pale pinks in the flowers. To create a cohesive look across adjacent painted walls, trims, or cabinetry, we recommend soft clotted-cream whites, muted olive greens, or gentle warm stone shades. If you prefer a richer, more traditional contrast, a deep botanical green or earthy rust on interior doors and baseboards will echo the potted motif beautifully.
