Wallpaper - Sunny Floral II

Our Sunny Floral II wallpaper brings the warmth and expressive energy of an impressionistic floral still life directly to your wall. Created by Silvia Vassileva, the design features bright sunflower-yellow petals bursting from a glass vase, anchored by rich dark centres and lush green foliage. Thick, painterly brushstrokes give the motif a vivid oil-paint appearance, set against a softly blended, abstract backdrop of blues, greys, peach, and warm beige. Produced as custom made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings an uplifting artistic focal point to any room.

In the room

We particularly like how the scale and painterly depth of this floral motif ground a space. In a dining room or living room, Sunny Floral II works exceptionally well on an open, main wall where the entire vase composition and radiating sunflowers can be seen from across the room. Because the subject has a distinct central presence, positioning it behind a dining table, low sofa, or sideboard allows the vibrant yellow blooms to rise cleanly above the furniture line. For an entryway or guest room, the warm sunflower tones and painterly background create an instantly welcoming feel as soon as you step through the door.

Styling it

The impressionist character and warm palette of this design make it easy to pair with classic, cottage, or relaxed French country interiors. We would balance the energetic yellow petals with grounded, earthy furniture pieces and natural finishes.

Warm wood furniture, such as aged pine, honey oak, or rustic timber, complements the golden tones of the flowers while echoing the organic feel of the foliage. To keep the focus on the artwork, we suggest choosing upholstery in quiet, unpatterned neutral fabrics like cream or soft taupe. Simple ceramic accents or clear glassware pick up on the still-life theme without competing with the bold brushstrokes of the wall mural.

Colour combinations

The design centres on vibrant sunflower yellow, deep brown-black flower centres, and rich leafy greens, all supported by a muted backdrop of soft blue, cool grey, delicate peach, and sandy beige.

To create a cohesive scheme around the mural, we suggest pulling the paler background shades into adjacent walls and woodwork. A soft, warm off-white or light stone grey on neighbouring walls lets the yellow blooms stand out with clarity. For a moodier or more enveloping setting, picking up the deeper olive and forest tones from the leaves for painted trim or cabinetry creates a grounded, tailored contrast with the sunny floral motif.
