Wallpaper - Ticking Awning Stripes, Peach

Our Ticking Awning Stripes, Peach wallpaper pairs bold awning-scale vertical stripes with fine ticking details across a soft, warm cream background. Created by RNM Arts, this design features gentle peach and apricot tones layered with woven-looking visual texture and delicate speckling, giving the classic stripe motif a relaxed, hand-crafted feel. The rhythmic balance between broad bands and delicate pinstripes brings height and warmth to a room without feeling overly rigid. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is custom made-to-measure and completely PVC-free.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working particularly well in spaces where you want to introduce structured pattern alongside a gentle, welcoming mood. The strong vertical rhythm makes it a natural choice for rooms with standard or lower ceilings, drawing the eye upward to create a heightened sense of proportion. In a bedroom, dining room, or hallway, the repeat can easily wrap around all four walls to create an enveloping, classic setting. It also works beautifully on a single feature wall behind a bed or dining table, where the balance between the broad awning stripes and delicate ticking lines offers plenty of visual detail up close.

Styling it

The warm peach and cream tones pair effortlessly with natural materials and relaxed interiors. We would lean towards warm wood furniture, such as honey oak, pine, or warm birch, to echo the approachable character of the pattern. Woven accents like rattan, wicker, or simple linen upholstery complement the textile-inspired look of the motif while keeping the room feeling airy and balanced.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on soft peach, warm apricot, and a light cream base. When choosing colours for surrounding walls, woodwork, and trim, we like pairing this design with off-white or warm vanilla tones to keep the space bright and cohesive. For a touch more depth, muted terracotta, dusty rose, or soft sage green on adjacent walls or painted joinery create a grounded, harmonious contrast with the peach stripes.
