Wallpaper - Tiny World, Sunny Day

Our Tiny World, Sunny Day wallpaper brings a lively, storybook garden directly into the room. Designed by Maria Trolle, this mural wallpaper features vibrant pink, purple, and yellow flowers reaching up towards a soft sky blue backdrop with gentle white clouds. Delicate butterflies flutter between tall blooms, busy bees tend to lilies and dandelions, ladybugs rest across green foliage, and cheerful small birds perch among the stems. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it is straightforward to hang and adds a playful spirit to any children's space.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working particularly well in a nursery, children's room, toddler room, or playroom. The vertical rise of the tall garden stems makes it a natural focal point for a feature wall behind a cot, a low bed, or a reading corner. Because the motif includes a clear sky in the upper portion and a denser cluster of greenery below, it anchors low-profile furniture nicely while keeping the upper wall feeling open and light. In a playroom, having the design across a larger, uninterrupted wall gives all the smaller insect and bird details plenty of room to be discovered.

Styling it

To balance the detailed character of our wall murals, we would keep the surrounding furniture simple and grounded. Natural wood finishes or clean white-painted pieces let the garden pattern take centre stage without competing for visual attention.

For bedding and curtains, plain woven textiles in gentle pastel tones pick up the floral accents nicely. Keeping larger rugs and storage in solid, quiet tones helps maintain a relaxed atmosphere in a busy play space.

Colour combinations

The design is built around a clear sky blue background paired with vivid pinks, purples, sunny yellows, and fresh leafy greens.

When choosing paint for neighbouring walls, skirting, or woodwork, we would draw directly from the lighter tones in the motif. A soft chalky white or a muted sky blue extends the open feel of the upper background. Alternatively, pulling out a pale butter yellow, soft lilac, or gentle sage green connects naturally to the flowers and foliage without overpowering the room.
