Wallpaper - Banana Leaf Camo, Sky

Created by RNM Arts, our Banana Leaf Camo, Sky wallpaper reimagines tropical foliage through delicate, sketched line work and a soft monochrome palette. Overlapping banana leaves create an intricate, leafy layer that feels airy rather than dense, thanks to the gentle pale blue tones on a clean, light ground. What we especially like about this design is how the botanical detail brings a sense of movement to the wall without overwhelming the space with heavy contrast. Like all our wall murals, it is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions and produced on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the contrast in this design is so gentle, we see it working effortlessly across all four walls of a bedroom or nursery, where a heavier botanical print might feel too dominant. The vertical rhythm of the long banana leaves also makes it a great choice for a hallway or an entryway, drawing the eye upward and giving smaller spaces an open, refreshing feel. In a living room or home office, it creates an understated backdrop behind a sofa or desk, introducing botanical character while keeping the overall atmosphere bright and calm.

Styling it

The soft blue tones pair naturally with relaxed, contemporary furnishings. We like combining this wallpaper with pale wood finishes such as ash or birch, which echo the light, airy mood of the pattern. For painted furniture or joinery, clean white or muted chalky finishes keep the room feeling fresh and open. When choosing accents, a few touches of matte black or dark charcoal hardware can provide a crisp, modern anchor that contrasts subtly with the sketched leaf outlines.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper is built on a gentle palette of soft sky blue and off-white. To build a harmonious scheme around it, consider pairing the design with soft warm whites or pale dove greys on adjacent walls and ceiling mouldings. If you prefer a richer contrast in surrounding elements, deep navy, slate blue, or muted denim tones in cushions and upholstery complement the illustrated line work while preserving a coherent blue spectrum throughout the room.
