Wallpaper - Paris Scene Sketch I

Our Paris Scene Sketch I wallpaper brings an expressive, hand-drawn Parisian streetscape into focus, created by artist Jenaya Jackson. Rendered in bold black sketch lines against a crisp white backdrop, the design captures classic Haussmann-style architecture, a lively sidewalk café scene, and the iconic silhouette of the Eiffel Tower rising in the centre. The open, graphic line work balances architectural detail with relaxed sketch marks, creating an artistic impression of a Parisian avenue. Produced as made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical paper structure, our wallpaper is designed to be straightforward to hang and easy to align with your interior layout.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well as an accent wall in a living room, dining room, hallway, or home office where the vertical composition can be appreciated in full. Because the Eiffel Tower forms a tall central focal point, we recommend placing this wallpaper on a relatively uninterrupted wall, such as behind a low-backed sofa, a dining table, or an open entryway. The high-contrast black-and-white palette keeps the space feeling bright and airy while providing a strong graphic anchor for the room.

Styling it

To complement the graphic black-and-white line work, we suggest keeping the surrounding furniture clean and tailored so the mural does not compete with too much visual noise. Sleek mid-century or modern silhouettes with slender legs echo the linear quality of the sketch. Incorporating warm natural wood or understated painted furniture adds depth, while matte black accents or soft linen textiles help bridge the contrast between the bold black linework and the white background.

Colour combinations

The design itself relies strictly on deep black linework against a clean white ground. When choosing surrounding colours for adjacent walls, trim, or major furnishings, warm neutrals like cream, soft stone, and oatmeal soften the crisp monochrome contrast. Muted earth tones, including olive green, warm taupe, or soft terracotta accents in surrounding decor, bring an understated warmth into the room without distracting from the sketch.
