Wallpaper - Indonesia Jungle Paradise No1

Our Indonesia Jungle Paradise No1 wallpaper brings together tropical botanicals and classic cartography in a layered, vintage-inspired composition. Designed by Andrea Haase, the motif features colourful birds in shades of orange, blue, and green perched among arching palm leaves, set against an aged nautical map with delicate coastlines and compass roses. The fern green foliage blends naturally with warm earthy tones and an antique beige background, giving the scene an artistic, nostalgic character. Made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper, this design provides a striking focal point with a subtle paper structure.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working especially well in a study, home office, or living room where you want to introduce visual storytelling without overpowering the space. Because the design combines broad palm leaves with finer cartographic line work, giving it a wider, relatively uninterrupted wall allows both the detailed map and the botanical foreground to be appreciated. In a study or reading corner, placing the mural behind a desk or low armchair creates an engaging backdrop that invites closer viewing. The balance of muted parchment tones and lush greenery also makes it comfortable across an entire feature wall in a living room, where the design can anchor the main seating area without competing with everyday room traffic.

Styling it

To complement the heritage character and botanical theme of this wallpaper, we suggest keeping surrounding furnishings grounded in natural, warm materials.

Darker wood finishes such as aged oak, mahogany, or walnut pair naturally with the antique map tones and lend a classic, colonial-inspired feel to the room. For upholstery and soft furnishings, choosing understated woven fabrics in muted linen, olive, or warm terracotta echoes the colours of the birds and foliage while letting the wall mural remain the primary visual focus.

Colour combinations

The palette in our design relies on a base of aged beige and warm earthy neutrals, punctuated by rich fern green, soft leaf tones, and subtle accents of bird plumage in orange and blue. When choosing paint for adjacent walls or woodwork, soft stone, antique cream, or muted biscuit shades will extend the warmth of the map background seamlessly. If you prefer deeper contrast on trim or cabinetry, a muted fern green or earthy olive draws out the tropical foliage beautifully without clashing with the central illustration.
