Wallpaper - Girly Pop IV

Our Girly Pop IV wallpaper by Laura Marshall brings a playful, graphic energy to the wall with a bold red statement piece centered in a crisp, scalloped white cartouche. Set over an all-over pink background structured by a geometric red diamond lattice, the phrase "You're Like, Really Pretty" anchors the visual composition. Surrounding the typography, charming illustrated motifs including fresh strawberries, dainty bows, stars, and sweet hearts add rhythm and whimsy. Printed as a made-to-measure, PVC-free wall mural, this design features a subtle structure in the wallpaper paper and provides a vibrant, pop-art focal point that instantly enlivens residential interiors.

In the room

Because the design centres around a clear statement frame and an orderly diamond grid, we see this working particularly well as an accent wall where the central graphic has room to shine. In a bedroom, placing this mural wallpaper directly behind the bed creates an immediate visual headboard effect that anchors the entire room. In a dressing room, teenage room, or powder room, the high-contrast cherry red and pink palette injects charm without requiring a vast amount of floor space. On a wall that remains largely unobstructed by tall wardrobes or heavy shelving, the balance between the central quote and the repeating background motifs stays fully legible and expressive.

Styling it

To let the energetic graphic style of the mural stand out, we suggest pairing it with clean, simple surrounding furniture. Painted white or soft cream surfaces mirror the scalloped frame and keep the room feeling bright and open. If you prefer natural materials, pale blonde woods or gentle cane accents introduce warmth without competing against the cherry red linework. We would keep large decorative accessories relatively minimal and allow smaller accents, such as curved vanity mirrors, simple modern lighting, and solid pink or red soft furnishings, to echo the retro pop-art aesthetic.

Colour combinations

The palette in our design pairs vivid cherry red with a soft, warm pink base, accented by crisp white details in the scalloped border. When choosing paint for adjacent walls and woodwork, a clean warm white creates a fresh, balanced boundary that lets the mural take centre stage. For a bolder, monochromatic look, you could wrap adjacent trim in a tonal pink drawn straight from the background lattice. If you want to introduce deliberate contrast through smaller textiles or painted furniture, deep forest green or soft olive provides a classic, natural counterpart to the red and pink tones.
