Wallpaper - La Vida Medallion

Our La Vida Medallion wallpaper, created by Veronique Charron, features an expressive composition of oversized circular medallions and stylised floral rosettes inspired by heritage textile and folk art traditions. The artwork balances intricate ornamental linework with warm rust, olive green, ochre, and vibrant turquoise blue against a subtly textured cream background. It brings a playful, bohemian warmth to an interior, layering rich graphic detail across the wall surface. Our wallpapers are made-to-measure and completely PVC-free, with a subtle physical structure in the wallpaper paper that adds character to the finished print.

In the room

Because the medallions are drawn at an expansive scale with rich, layered ornamentation, we find this design works best on an uninterrupted feature wall where the rounded forms have space to breathe. It sits naturally in a creative home art studio or a dedicated meditation room, where the rhythmic symmetry of the mandala-like rosettes brings visual warmth and focus. The lighter background keeps the motif from feeling visually heavy, allowing you to use it across a wide living area or a bedroom wall behind a bed without overwhelming the space. In rooms with plenty of daylight, the contrast between the deep rust tones and the crisp turquoise details becomes particularly lively.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this design with relaxed, natural interior styles such as bohemian, eclectic, or warm vintage settings. Because the pattern carries significant visual energy, surrounding furniture is best kept relatively grounded in form. Low-profile seating and warm wood tones, such as teak or aged oak, complement the earthy rust and ochre base. Natural woven textiles like jute rugs and plain linen upholstery help balance the intricate linework of the medallions without competing for attention.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built around a palette of deep rust, warm terracotta, olive green, turquoise blue, and soft cream, accented with touches of ochre and dark indigo navy. When painting adjacent walls or selecting trim, warm off-white or soft linen tones match the background cleanly. If you prefer deeper contrast, pulling the muted olive green or rich terracotta into surrounding woodwork, shelving, or upholstery creates a cohesive, enveloping space.
