Wallpaper - Calm Oasis II

Our Calm Oasis II wallpaper, created by Andrea Haase, presents slender palm trees rising through a soft, misty landscape. The watercolor-like motif blends muted brown, caramel, green, and grey tones into a quiet, layered composition where tall trunks and delicate fronds emerge gently from a hazy horizon. Because the contrast remains soft throughout the entire scene, the tropical foliage feels serene and understated rather than bold or crowded. Produced to your exact measurements, our mural wallpapers are PVC-free and printed on paper with a subtle surface structure that brings out the gentle tonal transitions.

In the room

In a bedroom, we like positioning this design along the main wall behind the bed, where the tall palm silhouettes and foggy horizon create an open, tranquil backdrop. Because the vertical palm trunks draw the eye upward, the pattern works particularly well in rooms with standard or higher ceilings, giving the impression of gentle vertical height.

In a living room, our wall murals work naturally across a wider, relatively uninterrupted wall where the full landscape horizon has space to unfold. The subdued caramel and earthy brown tones allow the wallpaper to add visual depth without competing with everyday furnishings or overwhelming the room.

Styling it

To complement the heritage feel and watercolor character of the design, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture simple and grounded. Pieces in warm woods such as teak or dark oak echo the earthy caramel tones in the tree trunks, while clean, unadorned upholstery in natural off-white or muted taupe lets the wall remain the visual anchor.

Matte black or antique bronze metal details provide a crisp contrast to the soft, painterly landscape without distracting from the muted foliage. We suggest keeping nearby patterns to a minimum so the fine fronds and misty horizon remain clear and uncluttered.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on earthy browns, warm caramel, muted greens, and soft foggy greys.

To create a balanced interior, we suggest pairing the wallpaper with surrounding wall paints in warm stone, chalky off-white, or light greige to maintain the airy, misty atmosphere. For accent pieces or woodwork, deeper espresso brown or muted olive green draws out the darker tones of the palms while keeping the overall palette natural and coherent.
