In the room

Because the design combines an orderly micro-floral pattern with a single prominent central oval, we see this working particularly well as a focal point. In a nursery, toddler room, or children's bedroom, placing the motif behind a cot, low bed, or nursing chair allows the central bow to ground the room while the ditsy pattern softly wraps the surrounding wall space. Styling it

To complement the nostalgic and Regency-inspired character of our design, we would lean towards classic painted furniture in warm off-white or soft cream tones. Our design features a soft apricot pink ground, warm cream in the central oval, gentle white in the floral buds, and muted green foliage. For adjacent walls and surrounding woodwork, we recommend staying within this warm, muted spectrum. Gentle ivory, chalky off-white, or warm buttermilk tones on trims and skirting boards harmonise effortlessly with the cream medallion. If you want to introduce a soft contrast across furniture or cushions, a pale sage green drawn from the leafy accents works beautifully.
