Wallpaper - Dandelion Meadow, Sand

Our Dandelion Meadow, Sand wallpaper brings an artistic meadow scene to life through detailed botanical illustration. Designed by Maria Trolle, the motif features tall dandelions with intricate white seed heads rising above lush green stems and delicate purple bluebell flowers, accompanied by small budding blossoms. The warm sand-beige backdrop sets a calm, earthy tone that balances the rich fern greens and soft purple accents. Like all our wallpapers, this mural wallpaper is made to measure and produced without PVC on paper with a subtle surface structure, making it straightforward to hang in any room.

In the room

In a bedroom or nursery, our botanical wall mural works wonderfully behind the bed or cot, creating a restful focal point that grounds the space. Because the vertical stems and slender dandelions lead the eye upward, this wallpaper sits comfortably across wider uninterrupted walls in a living room, dining room or study without feeling visually cluttered. In rooms with lower furniture, more of the lower grass line and budding details remain visible, allowing the full meadow composition to show its rhythm.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this design with quiet, natural materials that complement its botanical character rather than competing with it. Unpainted wood furniture in lighter or mid tones echoes the warm sand background, while understated textiles in unbleached cotton or washed linen enhance the organic feel. Keeping larger upholstery relatively simple allows the delicate botanical linework of the mural wallpaper to remain the centrepiece of the room.

Colour combinations

The palette within our design centres on earthy fern greens, soft purple bluebells, crisp white seed heads, and a gentle sand-beige background. For adjacent walls and painted woodwork, soft warm neutrals, muted stone tones, or pale sage greens coordinate naturally without overwhelming the room. If you want to introduce a subtle accent colour through smaller decor pieces or cushions, deep plum, dusty lilac, or warm ochre pull directly from the floral nuances of the motif.
