Wallpaper - Overlooking Treetops

Our Overlooking Treetops wallpaper brings together an expansive tropical landscape with rich botanical detail and vibrant wildlife. Illustrated with bold, graphic outlines and soft misty shading, the composition layers wide palm and monstera foliage in the foreground against a quiet backdrop of rolling green hills, pine canopies, and a gentle sky. Colourful parrots with vivid blue, red, and yellow plumage and a toucan perching among the branches add striking accents across the fern and earthy green tones. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design brings depth and visual interest to your interior walls.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well on a wide, uninterrupted feature wall in a living room, dining room, or bedroom. Because the artwork is framed by tall palms on the left and broad banana leaves on the right, keeping the central area relatively open allows the atmospheric depth of the misty hills and flying birds to remain fully visible. In a study or home office, placing this mural behind a low desk or reading chair preserves the layered perspective without overcrowding the view. The open sky in the upper third also ensures the room feels spacious, even when paired with larger furniture pieces along the lower portion of the wall.

Styling it

To balance the rich illustration style and lively details of the mural wallpapers, we recommend pairing the wall with understated, natural furnishings. Clean-lined furniture in warm woods or muted painted finishes complements the botanical theme without competing with the leafy foreground. For textiles, simple woven fabrics in ecru, flax, or pale olive echo the earthy nature of the foliage, allowing the jewel-toned parrots to stand out as intentional focal points. Keeping surrounding decorative accessories minimal and grounded gives the intricate jungle scene room to breathe.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is grounded in a lush palette of fern green, forest green, moss, and muted sage, contrasted by bright flashes of scarlet, cobalt blue, and golden yellow in the bird plumage, all set against a soft pale sky. Around this design, we suggest introducing neutral tones such as soft off-white, light warm taupe, or deep olive green on neighbouring walls and woodwork. If you want to subtly highlight the birds, small accents in mustard ochre or deep rust on cushions or ceramics tie the room together naturally.
