Wallpaper - Reaching Ferns, Mint

Our Reaching Ferns, Mint wallpaper pairs rhythmic vertical fronds with subtle, layered tropical foliage in the background. Designed by Andrea Sjöström, the motif balances deep sage green botanical silhouettes against a soft mint field, creating a clean composition with gentle visual depth. The upward and downward reach of the leaves gives the repeat an airy, organized cadence that brings nature indoors without overwhelming the space. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this botanical design working particularly well in spaces where you want a calm, restorative atmosphere. In a bedroom or guest room, placing our wallpaper behind the bed creates a serene focal point that grounds the room while keeping the palette light and open.

The vertical movement of the fern fronds also makes this design well suited to a dining room, living room, or home office. On a main feature wall or behind a desk, the steady rhythm of the leaves adds interest without visual clutter. For smaller areas like an entryway or powder room, running these wall murals across multiple walls establishes a fresh, immersive garden feel without feeling heavy, as the pale mint background preserves a sense of openness.

Styling it

To balance the crisp botanical graphics, we suggest pairing this wallpaper with warm, unpretentious interior elements.

• Warm wood furniture, such as natural ash, blonde oak, or light birch, complements the organic motif and softens the cooler mint undertones.
• Simple, tactile textiles like washed linen bedding, unbleached cotton throws, or light wool rugs in neutral tones let the wall pattern stand out.
• Minimalist lighting and understated accents in brushed brass or matte ceramic echo the clean, contemporary feel of Andrea Sjöström's design.

Colour combinations

The design is built around crisp sage green fronds layered over a pale mint and seafoam wash. To complement these verified tones, we recommend surrounding the wallpaper with soft off-whites, warm chalky neutrals, or muted stone shades on adjacent walls and woodwork.

If you prefer a richer palette, deeper forest greens or muted olive tones drawn from the darker leaves make handsome choices for painted cabinetry or larger upholstered furniture. Soft beige, clay, and sand also work beautifully to add warmth alongside the green tones.
