Wallpaper - Hey There Honey Bear

Our Hey There Honey Bear wallpaper by Haley Knighten brings a warm and cheerful character to the wall with its friendly illustrated bear, painted-looking texture, and playful orange typography reading "hey there" and "honey bear". The motif pairs a rich saddle brown bear and lighter snout detail with an open, clean white background, keeping the overall composition light and uncluttered. As with all Wallism wall murals, our mural wallpapers are made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working especially well in a nursery, toddler room, children's bedroom, or dedicated play area. Because the main illustration sits against an open white background, it functions naturally as a focal feature wall without overwhelming the rest of the space. In a smaller nursery, placing the design behind a cot or changing unit lets the friendly face anchor the room while keeping the surrounding atmosphere bright and airy. In a playroom or larger child's bedroom, we would give it a wider, uninterrupted wall area so the full character of the bear illustration and the surrounding lettering can be appreciated at eye level.

Styling it

To complement the warm saddle brown tones and playful lettering, we recommend pairing this wallpaper with light, warm wood furniture such as birch, pine, or light oak. Simple furniture profiles with rounded edges echo the soft shapes of the illustration and keep the room feeling relaxed.

For surrounding textiles and decorative accents, pick up on the warm orange details with amber or mustard cushions, a soft wool blanket, or terracotta-toned storage baskets. Keeping large storage pieces or wardrobes in neutral white, warm cream, or painted pale beige ensures the illustration remains the visual centrepiece of the room.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built around warm saddle brown, soft cream at the snout, vibrant orange gradient lettering, and a crisp white background.

When decorating the surrounding space, we suggest painting adjacent walls in a soft off-white or light warm greige to maintain the bright, open feel of the white backdrop. For trim, skirting, and doors, a gentle cream or muted buttermilk tone creates a seamless transition. If you want to introduce contrasting accents elsewhere in the room, muted earthy hues like warm terracotta, soft ochre, or gentle moss green work naturally alongside the rich brown of the bear.
