Wallpaper - Crimson Stroll by the Shore

Our Crimson Stroll by the Shore wallpaper captures a solitary figure walking along an open stretch of beach beneath a vivid red umbrella. Photographed by Thomas Winz, the scene features rolling coastal waves, soft white foam edging onto the sand, and footprints trailing along the shoreline under an expansive, lilac-tinted sky. The panoramic composition balances deep ocean tones and warm sandy neutrals with a sharp, graphic crimson focal point. Made-to-measure on a subtle, PVC-free paper structure, this design brings an open horizon and reflective coastal character to contemporary interiors.

In the room

Because of its sweeping panoramic scale and strong horizontal coastline, we see this wall mural working especially well on a wide, uninterrupted wall where the full expanse of sea and sky can unfold without interruption. In a living room, placing the design behind a low sofa keeps the shoreline and open horizon visible across the space. In a bedroom, it serves naturally as a feature wall behind the bed, where the quiet rhythm of the waves creates an unhurried visual backdrop. The composition also works well in a dedicated study or quiet reading nook, bringing a sense of distance and depth to walls that might otherwise feel contained.

Styling it

To let the atmospheric photography remain the focal point, we recommend pairing this design with furniture that has clean, low profiles and restrained silhouettes. Lower credenzas, bench seating, or streamlined sofas prevent the coastline from being obscured while echoing the panoramic lines of the image.

In terms of materials, warm natural wood such as bleached oak or warm birch echoes the dry sand along the shore, grounding the cooler water and sky. To balance the vibrant red umbrella in the print, you might introduce a single accent piece nearby, such as a sculptural ceramic bowl or a structured occasional chair, allowing the crimson tone to carry lightly across the room without competing with the wall.

Colour combinations

The palette within our wallpaper is defined by sandy beige and tan tones across the beach, layered blue and frothy white waves, and a soft lavender-blue sky, punctuated by the bright crimson of the umbrella.

When considering surrounding surfaces, we suggest working with muted neutrals that pick up on the beach elements. Soft sand tones, warm off-whites, and gentle ecru on adjacent walls and woodwork keep the overall setting coherent and bright. For a deeper contrast in a study or living area, pairing the mural wallpapers with deep marine blue, charcoal, or washed slate on adjacent joinery or doors grounds the design and draws out the darker shadows in the rolling water.
