Wallpaper - Vinyl Groove

Our Vinyl Groove wallpaper, created by Omar Escalante, brings an expressive line-art illustration to life with a cool two-tone palette of clean white and bold cobalt blue. The scene captures a figure in a cap leaning beside a record player against shelves lined with vinyl sleeves, drawn in dynamic contour lines with soft blue shading. The open background and clean graphic styling give this design a relaxed, urban rhythm that makes a clear statement without overwhelming a space. Like all of our wallpapers, it is custom made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of its strong graphic identity and prominent vertical illustration, we see this wall mural working particularly well on a main feature wall in a living room, teenage bedroom, creative study, or home office. The composition benefits from being placed on an uninterrupted wall where the full figure and record shelving can be appreciated at eye level. Placing it behind a low media console, low-back sofa, or desk lets the artwork remain fully visible while grounding the surrounding space.

Styling it

The crisp blue-and-white linework pairs naturally with contemporary, mid-century, or retro-inspired interiors. We would balance the graphic nature of the wall mural by choosing clean-lined furniture and minimal decor, keeping the room uncluttered so the wall remains the focal point. Matte black accents, chrome details, or warm timber pieces help echo the nostalgic music theme without competing with the illustration.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a high-contrast foundation of bright white and deep cobalt blue. In the surrounding room, we suggest working with crisp off-whites, cool greys, or muted navy on adjacent walls to maintain a cohesive, tailored look. If you want to introduce a touch of warmth, accents in mustard yellow, tan leather, or burnt terracotta create a classic mid-century colour dialogue against the cool blue tones.
