Wallpaper - Pale Gray IV

Created in collaboration with Haley Knighten, our Pale Gray IV wallpaper brings an airy, painterly calm to interior walls. The abstract composition layers snow drift white, cool pale blue, and gentle beige washes, revealing subtle brushwork and tonal depth that drift across the surface like mist. As one of our contemporary wall murals, it introduces artistic texture without overwhelming the surrounding space. In the room

We find this design works exceptionally well across larger, open wall spaces where the broad, fluid sweeps of paint can fully stretch out. In a dedicated meditation room or quiet sitting area, the light tonal balance creates an uncluttered, soothing backdrop that does not compete with the room's purpose. It also brings an expansive, fresh atmosphere to a bathroom, framing a vanity area or freestanding bath with soft visual interest.

Because the contrast across the motif is gentle and diffused, you can easily use it across a wide feature wall or wrap it continuously around multiple adjoining walls without creating visual weight. In rooms with changing daylight, the cool blue and warm neutral undertones subtly shift, catching soft morning sun with crisp clarity and taking on a warmer, moodier depth under low evening lighting.

Styling it

When introducing materials, matte ceramic objects and unpolished stone sit naturally alongside the cool, mineral character of the palette. The palette within our design relies on a base of snow drift white blended with translucent glazes of pale mist blue, soft slate grey, and warm beige.
