Wallpaper - Paradise Lagoon, Pink

Our Paradise Lagoon, Pink wallpaper by Irina Chikati captures a tranquil coastal landscape rendered in a soft watercolour style. In the foreground, tall green palms and broad tropical leaves rise along the edge of calm water, framing a view of gentle distant mountains under a blush pink sky with soft white clouds. The subtle reflection of pastels in the water softens the boundary between land and sky, giving the scenic composition a balanced, open perspective. Like all our mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, making it straightforward to hang.

In the room

We see this scenic design working particularly well on a wide, uninterrupted wall where the full panorama can unfold without being heavily broken up by tall furniture. In a bedroom, placing it behind the headboard allows the lush palm foliage to anchor the bed while the open pink sky extends upward to keep the upper wall light and airy. It also suits a bathroom or a quiet retreat space like a meditation area or reading nook, where the scenic depth can visually expand a more compact footprint.

Styling it

To let the illustrative watercolour landscape remain the focal point, we suggest balancing the room with clean-lined furniture and organic textures.

• Natural woven fibres such as rattan, cane, or jute echo the tropical motif without competing with the fine foliage details.
• Light-toned timber, such as bleached ash or pale oak, harmonises naturally with the soft pastel backdrop while keeping the overall space airy.
• Keep surrounding textiles in solid, unpatterned weaves to let the scenic depth of the wall mural take centre stage.

Colour combinations

The design centres on a gentle palette of blush pink, soft white, and varied tropical greens, balanced by cool pastel reflections in the water. For surrounding painted walls and woodwork, we recommend off-whites with a warm undertone or a muted, pale sage green that pulls directly from the palm fronds. If you prefer deeper contrast, accents in dark forest green or earthy terracotta bring out the botanical warmth of the foreground.
