Wallpaper - Lush Canopy, Beige

Designed by Irina Chikati, our Lush Canopy, Beige wallpaper captures the gentle downward drape of delicate leaves in a soft watercolour style. The composition gathers wispy foliage along the upper portion of the wall, allowing the delicate branches to taper downwards against a clean, pale background. Soft beige, warm cream and muted yellow tones give the botanical motif a light, airy character with subtle Art Nouveau curves. We produce all our mural wallpapers made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions, printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because the foliage drapes from the top of the design, this wallpaper brings an organic focal point to the upper half of a room while leaving the lower wall visually open. We see this working particularly well in a bedroom behind a headboard or in a dining room behind a sideboard, where lower furniture will not conceal the main botanical pattern. In a nursery, guest room or home office, the light palette and downward movement create a calm, balanced backdrop that feels spacious rather than crowded. It also suits hallways and entryways where you want a natural motif without overpowering a narrow space.

Styling it

The organic modern character of the design pairs naturally with Japandi or contemporary classic interiors. We would balance the delicate watercolour branches with understated, low-profile furniture in light wood tones such as ash, bleached birch or pale oak.

To keep the room grounded, introduce texture through unbleached cotton, matte ceramics or woven jute rather than strong contrasting patterns. The subtle curves in the leaves also complement gently rounded furniture shapes, such as a curved boucle armchair, an oval dining table or rounded mirrors.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built around a gentle palette of warm beige, soft cream and light yellow. To create a seamless, harmonious space, we suggest pairing it with off-white, warm ivory or soft stone on adjacent walls, woodwork and doors.

If you want to introduce subtle contrast without disrupting the quiet mood, muted olive, warm taupe, dried wheat or soft biscuit tones work wonderfully on larger upholstery, linen curtains or painted cabinetry.
