Created by Deborah Revell, our Branches wallpaper captures the delicate silhouette of tree branches reaching across an airy, off-white background. Rendered in deep navy blue ink, the intricate twig and leaf forms create a striking visual contrast, softened by subtle, faint watercolour-like washes of sky blue and pale orange. The asymmetric composition leaves generous open space across the lower and left portions of the design, giving it a calm and uncluttered visual character. In the room

The open composition of our Branches wallpaper makes it especially well suited to spaces where you want visual interest without overwhelming the room. Because the denser cluster of navy branches sits in the upper right, this design works beautifully behind lower furniture, such as behind a desk in a study or home office, or along the focal wall in a meditation room or quiet sitting area.

The generous negative space across the lower half means that desks, low shelving, or seating can sit against the wall without cutting off the most detailed elements of the motif. In rooms with ample natural daylight, the soft painterly background washes and fine line work become particularly subtle and atmospheric.

Styling it

The clean graphic quality of the navy silhouettes pairs naturally with contemporary and Scandinavian-inspired interiors. We like keeping the surrounding decor relatively simple to mirror the restrained, open feel of the motif.

Furniture in pale woods like ash, birch, or light oak complements the airy ground, while deeper walnut pieces can echo the grounding navy tones of the branches.
