Wallpaper - Summer Bloom I

Our Summer Bloom I wallpaper presents a vibrant, painted-look close-up of a blooming gerbera daisy created by artist Albena Hristova. What we particularly like about this floral mural wallpaper is the balance between the bold, layered pink petals and the warm, painterly wash in the background, combining soft apricot, ochre, and warm beige tones. Broad, textured brushwork gives the flower centre depth with touches of deep plum, soft orange, and gentle highlights. Made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions, our PVC-free wallpapers are easy to hang and printed on paper featuring a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

Because of the generous visual scale of the single bloom, we see this working especially well on a dedicated feature wall where the central composition can command the space. In a living room or bedroom, placing this design behind a sofa or bed headboard anchors the seating or sleeping area with an expressive, warm focal point. In a dining room or guest room, giving the flower an uninterrupted wall allows the sweeping curves of the petals and the delicate painterly background washes to be appreciated from across the room.

Styling it

We suggest balancing the expressive pink petals and warm background with relatively calm furniture pieces. Clean-lined furnishings in warm wood tones or soft off-white painted finishes ground the space without competing with the floral artwork. For surrounding accents, soft brushed brass or matte ceramic pieces in neutral tones echo the artistic quality of the motif.

Colour combinations

The design itself centers on rich berry pinks and soft rose shades, complemented by a background of warm peach, creamy beige, and golden ochre, grounded by deep plum tones at the flower core. For adjacent walls and trim, we recommend subtle neutrals such as warm off-white, light biscuit, or soft linen tones to keep the focus firmly on the artwork. If you want a deeper accent in surrounding upholstery or textiles, a muted plum or terracotta pulls out the rich undertones found at the centre of the bloom.
