Wallpaper - Sepia Guitar II

Our Sepia Guitar II wallpaper by Deborah Revell brings a striking, close-up study of an electric guitar directly onto the wall. What we particularly like about this design is the balance between the clean, vertical line of the fretboard and the rippled, marbled grain of the guitar body below. Rendered in warm sepia, deep charcoal, and soft off-white tones, the composition carries a calm yet distinct graphic presence. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it is straightforward to hang and easy to integrate into a contemporary home.

In the room

We see this mural working exceptionally well in a dedicated music room, a home office, or a living room where you want a defined focal point. The strong vertical orientation of the guitar neck naturally draws the eye upward, making it particularly effective on walls with generous ceiling height or in narrower alcoves that benefit from vertical movement. Because the background is kept clean and quiet, we would place this design behind a low sofa, an acoustic desk setup, or an open reading corner where the upper fretboard details remain completely visible.

Styling it

When styling around this wallpaper, we suggest keeping surrounding furniture clean-lined and understated to complement the graphic nature of the instrument.

• Pair the warm sepia and deep charcoal tones with dark or warm-toned woods, such as walnut or stained ash, to echo the craftsmanship of the instrument.
• Choose low-profile furniture and matte black metal accents that align with the fretwork and hardware without cluttering the wall.
• Introduce soft, unpatterned fabrics like woven wool or heavy cotton in muted natural tones to soften the contrast while keeping the focus on the artwork.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built around a palette of deep charcoal, smoky sepia, and warm off-white. To create a cohesive space, we recommend surrounding the wall with warm off-whites, pale stone, or soft putty on adjacent surfaces. If you prefer deeper contrast, charcoal grey or dark espresso woodwork can frame the wall beautifully. Muted amber, tobacco, or subtle olive accents in nearby upholstery also work harmoniously with the warm sepia undertones.
