Wallpaper - Art Noveau II

Our Art Nouveau II wallpaper presents an elegant, symmetrical composition created by Tanja Smedh, drawing on classic heritage motifs. The artwork features sweeping organic arches, delicate botanical curves, and stylized floral forms that frame soft, pale medallions. A balanced palette of muted sage greens, earthy foliage tones, and gentle off-white gives the intricate linework a refined and grounded quality. Made-to-measure and completely PVC-free, this design features a subtle structure in the wallpaper paper that adds depth to the historic, textile-inspired pattern across your wall.

In the room

The formal symmetry and vertical rhythm of this design make it especially well suited to a dining room, home library, or formal living room. Because the motif is arranged with distinct arched panels and flowing borders, we recommend installing it across a wider, uninterrupted wall where the complete repeat and architectural balance can be fully appreciated. In rooms with higher ceilings, the upward movement of the organic curves draws the eye naturally, helping to emphasize the height of the space without feeling overcrowded.

Styling it

To complement the historic character of this mural wallpaper, pair it with furniture that shares subtle, curved silhouettes or classic proportions. Warm, darker wood finishes such as walnut or antique mahogany ground the soft sage tones beautifully, echoing the heritage feel of the period style. We suggest keeping surrounding fabrics and upholstery relatively plain, allowing the ornate botanical line work of the wallpaper to remain the central focus of the interior scheme.

Colour combinations

The pattern itself is built around soft sage green, earthy leafy undertones, and a pale cream background. For adjacent painted walls, woodwork, and skirting, we suggest pulling from the lighter background tones with an off-white, muted linen, or pale stone paint. If you prefer a richer and more enveloping atmosphere, deep moss green or subtle olive paint on adjoining walls or trim will pick up the darker foliage in the design and create a seamless, tonal transition throughout the space.
