Wallpaper - Lille, Royal Blue

Our Lille, Royal Blue wallpaper brings together stylized botanical foliage and delicate floral motifs set against a soft beige background. Designed by Limolida Studio, the pattern features detailed leaf veins and dotted floral petals inspired by classic monochrome textile traditions. The deep royal and navy blue forms create a balanced rhythm across the wall, giving the repeat an artistic, heritage-led character. As with all Wallism wallpapers, this design is custom made to your dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure that is straightforward to hang.

In the room

In a bedroom, we like positioning this wallpaper across the wall behind the headboard, where the balanced floral motifs create an enveloping backdrop without competing with bedside essentials. The symmetrical flow also makes it well suited to wrapping all four walls in a dedicated home library, study, or living room, where the contrast between the dark blue linework and light neutral ground keeps the space feeling open. Because the botanical pattern has a medium visual scale, it sits comfortably on both wide, uninterrupted walls and smaller alcoves interrupted by doors or sash windows.

Styling it

To complement the classic feel of the design, we suggest pairing it with warm, mid-toned or dark timber furniture, such as walnut or stained oak, which anchors the deep navy tones. Painted joinery in muted cream or soft warm stone balances the crispness of the blue motifs while echoing the background shade. For textiles, we recommend simple woven fabrics and unpatterned upholstery to let the intricate linework of the mural wallpapers remain the primary focus of the room.

Colour combinations

The pattern relies on rich royal blue and deep navy set against a muted beige base. To create a cohesive look around the wallpaper, we recommend using warm neutrals, pale oatmeal, or creamy off-whites on adjacent walls, skirting, and ceilings. For deeper accent notes across larger furniture pieces or soft furnishings, consider charcoal navy, muted indigo, or soft fawn to draw out the classic character of the print.
