Wallpaper - Wild Blooms I

Designed by Silvia Vassileva, our Wild Blooms I wallpaper pairs an airy meadow border with soft pastel florals and delicate calligraphy. Meadow blossoms, slender stems, and leafy sprigs rise along the lower portion of the design in shades of rose pink, soft blue, warm yellow, and gentle green, accented by a yellow butterfly in flight. Across the upper half, the phrase "bloom as you are" is written in flowing gold-toned script against an ivory canvas-textured background. Produced as a made-to-measure, PVC-free wall mural, this design brings a calm botanical presence to residential spaces while remaining straightforward to hang.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working especially well as a focal feature in a nursery, a child's bedroom, or a teenage room, where the uplifting message and gentle palette feel right at home. Because the floral motif is concentrated across the lower third and rises naturally, it forms a lovely backdrop behind low furniture such as a cot, a single bed frame, or a low desk. In a dressing room or a quiet home office, placing the mural on an uninterrupted wall allows the full width of the meadow illustration and the central text to remain clearly visible without feeling crowded.

Styling it

To complement the light watercolor character of the design, we suggest keeping surrounding furnishings relatively simple and natural. Painted wood furniture in soft off-white, warm cream, or pale grey harmonises effortlessly with the ivory background without competing with the illustration. Light timber pieces, such as pale ash or natural birch, also pair nicely with the botanical feel of the stems. For bed linens, cushions, and curtains, solid pastels drawn directly from the wildflowers, such as dusty blush or pale sage, help tie the room together while leaving the wallpaper as the primary visual focus.

Colour combinations

The palette in this wallpaper combines a gentle ivory background with pastel accents across the wildflowers: soft rose pink, coral, sky blue, lavender, butter yellow, and muted foliage greens, finished with warm gold-toned lettering. When choosing paint for adjoining walls and woodwork, warm whites and light creams create a seamless, cohesive boundary. If you prefer subtle colour on adjacent walls, a very soft sage green or an understated blush pink provides a gentle contrast that highlights the botanical artwork without overpowering the space.
