Wallpaper - Cheeky Cheetah I

Created by Yvette St. Amant, our Cheeky Cheetah I wallpaper brings a playful, illustrative character to the wall. The design centres on a spotted cheetah lounging across a tufted, powder-blue chaise longue, flanked by potted greenery and set against a decorative, olive-toned damask backdrop with an ornate framed picture above. Rich painterly brushstrokes, warm ochre and gold hues, and deep rose accents create an expressive, eclectic scene full of personality. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this mural wallpaper is designed to be straightforward to hang and easy to enjoy.

In the room

Because of its strong focal subject, we see this wall mural working particularly well as an accent wall in a living room, dining room, or a characterful entryway. Placing it on a main uninterrupted wall, such as behind a low sofa or a dining table, allows the full figurative scene and expressive composition to be appreciated without interruption. In a bedroom or guest room, it creates an inviting, storied backdrop when positioned behind a headboard. The rich interplay of warm ochres and soft powder blue works beautifully in rooms with balanced natural light, which highlights the layered painterly brushwork.

Styling it

When styling around our Cheeky Cheetah I mural wallpapers, we like balancing the ornate, painted details with refined, tactile furnishings.

• Pair with warm wood tones, such as walnut or mid-toned teak, to echo the golden ochre details in the artwork.
• Choose velvet or brushed linen upholstery in soft cornflower blue, dusty rose, or olive green to pick up the colours in the sofa and surrounding decor.
• Introduce understated brass or antique gold lighting and hardware to complement the warm tones in the frame and background pattern.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper features a distinctive palette of powder blue, warm ochre, olive green, and spotted tan, accented by touches of deep rose and night sky navy. When painting adjacent walls or selecting trim, warm off-whites, soft bone, or muted olive shades create a seamless and cohesive transition. For a bolder, more enveloping interior, deep French navy or dusty terracotta on surrounding woodwork will beautifully echo the accents within the scene.
