Wallpaper - Land Protection I

Created in collaboration with Pamela Munger, our Land Protection I wallpaper brings a bold, abstract composition of painted colour blocks to the wall. The design balances a large, open field of dry-brushed white on the right against grounded panels of slate blue, deep charcoal, and earthy brown on the left, with small accents of terracotta and blue peeking through the edges. Visual canvas texture and heavy brush marks give the motif an expressive, studio-painted character across a large scale. In the room

Because of the strong asymmetry between the solid left and the open, airy right side, we like this design best on a wider, relatively uninterrupted wall where the full horizontal composition can unfold. In a living room behind a low-backed sofa, or across a dining room wall, the large colour blocks create an architectural presence without needing dense patterns. The cooler slate blue and crisp white keep the overall feel balanced and bright, while the earthy brown and charcoal anchor the lower and central sections of the wall.

Styling it

We would pair this wall mural with clean-lined furniture that lets the abstract shapes remain the central visual statement.
