Wallpaper - Meadow

Our Meadow wallpaper brings the expansive feel of an Impressionist landscape painting directly onto the wall, featuring artwork by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Soft brushwork captures a swaying field of vibrant fern green grass dotted with delicate wildflowers, while distant clusters of trees in muted green and blue tones create a gentle sense of depth. Overhead, the sky softens into blended strokes of pale pink, light blue, and white. As with all our wall murals, this design is made to measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

In a living room or bedroom, we love using this design across a wide, main wall where the continuous horizon and open brushwork have space to breathe. The fluid movement of the meadow creates a calm backdrop behind a low headboard or a sofa, drawing the eye gently outward into the landscape. For a study, library, or dining room, our mural wallpapers bring an understated historic character that works equally well across an accent wall or wrapping around a quieter reading corner.

Styling it

We recommend pairing this scenic wallpaper with understated, timeless furnishings that let the painterly detail remain the focus. Light or warm wood tones, such as honey pine, aged ash, or fruitwood, sit naturally alongside the earthy grass tones without competing with the brushwork.

In terms of seating and textiles, soft woven fabrics in unbleached cotton, oatmeal, or muted olive help anchor the room. Classic French country or relaxed heritage pieces, like painted side tables or vintage framed sketches, echo the Impressionist origin of the artwork while keeping the overall room fresh and comfortable.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built on a rich foundation of fern green and grassy greens, balanced by subtle sky blues, petal pinks, and creamy whites. When selecting paint shades for adjacent walls, skirting, or doors, soft off-whites, warm chalky neutrals, or very pale sage greens complement the landscape effortlessly. If you prefer deeper contrast in surrounding woodwork or cabinetry, a muted slate blue or deep foliage green picked from the background trees provides a grounded, cohesive frame.
