Wallpaper - The Pink Cloud

Our The Pink Cloud wallpaper brings Henri-Edmond Cross's vibrant Neo-Impressionist landscape to life, dominated by an expansive, billowy cloud rendered in cotton candy pink, orange, and soft violet tones. Across the pastel sky of pale blue and delicate yellow, a pointillist dot technique builds rich texture, balanced below by deep green foliage, shoreline shrubbery, and a slender tree rising against the horizon. Calm water reflects the luminous sky, grounding the composition with horizontal balance. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this mural wallpaper transforms expansive wall areas into an expressive artistic focal point.

In the room

Because of the scale of the sky and the horizontal sweep of the shoreline, we see this wall mural working particularly well on a wide, uninterrupted wall in a living room. Placing the design along a main feature wall, such as behind a low-profile sofa, allows the complete landscape composition and the vertical line of the slender tree to be seen without awkward visual breaks.

The pointillist technique creates intricate visual detail up close while reading as a cohesive, glowing scene from across the space. In rooms with generous daylight, the subtle tonal transitions between the pale blues, soft yellows, and cotton candy pinks become especially pronounced, while softer evening lighting brings out the warmer violet and orange notes in the cloud formation.

Styling it

To let the expressive pointillist artwork remain the clear focus, we would pair our wallpaper with furniture that features quiet silhouettes and clean, understated lines.

• Choose seating and low shelving in lighter woods or warm neutral painted finishes to anchor the base of the wall without competing with the landscape's rich palette.
• Introduce tactile, unpatterned upholstery in cream, soft ecru, or muted olive to echo the organic foliage tones while keeping the surrounding surfaces visually calm.
• Accent the room with simple ceramic or brushed brass accessories that pick up on the warm sunlight and orange brushstrokes captured in the sky.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is defined by cotton candy pink, soft violet, and pale sky blue, anchored by rich moss greens and delicate yellow undertones. When choosing colours for adjacent painted walls, skirting boards, and major furnishings, we recommend pulling directly from these quieter supporting tones.

A muted off-white or soft linen shade on adjoining walls keeps the room feeling bright and open, allowing the vibrant sky to project naturally outward. For trim or built-in elements, a pale sage or muted grey-green creates a grounded dialogue with the trees along the shore. If you prefer deeper contrast, styling with deep forest green in small upholstery pieces or cushions reinforces the foreground shadows without overpowering the luminous pink center.
