Wallpaper - Green Wheat Fields, Auvers

Our Green Wheat Fields, Auvers wallpaper brings Vincent Van Gogh's expressive landscape into the home with swirling green fields and dynamic brushwork. Lush meadow grasses in vivid greens are accented with subtle flecks of yellow, while a gently curving path leads the eye toward the rolling countryside beneath a sweeping sky of soft blues and whites. The visible rhythm of the oil-paint strokes gives the entire composition a vibrant, painterly character that instantly transforms a wall. Custom-printed as made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design is simple to hang and adds an authentic artistic presence to any interior.

In the room

Because the composition has so much natural movement and sweeping horizon, we particularly like seeing this design on a wide, uninterrupted feature wall in a living room, dining room, or bedroom. Giving the artwork space across a main wall allows the gentle curve of the path and the expansive sky to establish the visual flow of the room. In a study or home office, placing the mural behind a desk creates an inspiring artistic backdrop that feels full of life without overwhelming the workspace. For rooms with generous daylight, the tonal contrasts between the deep and light greens become especially luminous, while softer ambient lighting in the evening brings out the warmth of the meadow details.

Styling it

• Anchor the space with natural wood furniture in warm or mid-toned finishes, which complement the earthiness of the rural landscape and ground the energetic brushstrokes.
• Introduce understated upholstery and soft furnishings in neutral ecru, oatmeal, or muted sage to let the vibrant greens and blues of the wall murals remain the focal point.
• Add subtle brass accents or matte dark metal lighting fixtures to provide a crisp contrast against the sweeping, fluid lines of the painting.

Colour combinations

The artwork centres around a rich palette of vivid field greens, olive, soft sky blues, creamy whites, and delicate yellow highlights. For surrounding painted walls, woodwork, and skirting, we recommend muted off-whites with warm undertones, soft barley, or pale sage greens that echo the lighter areas of the grass without competing. If you want a deeper accent on neighbouring walls or built-in cabinetry, a classic slate blue or an earthy olive provides a balanced, grounded connection to the painting’s darker strokes.
