Wallpaper - Liria Eden, Moonstone

Our Liria Eden, Moonstone wallpaper by designer Marta Cortese brings an enchanting woodland landscape to life in a serene, monochromatic palette. Illustrated with delicate linework and soft tonal shading, the design depicts leaping hares, resting and running deer, songbirds perched among ferns, and fluttering butterflies moving through a layered forest of weeping willow branches, leafy trees, and ornamental floral borders along the base. The gentle pale taupe, soft stone, and warm grey hues create a calm, atmospheric presence across the wall. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, this design brings narrative charm and visual depth to any room.

In the room

We see this mural wallpaper working particularly well in spaces where you want a sense of narrative and quiet wonder without overwhelming the room with bold colour. It creates a serene focal point in a master bedroom behind the headboard, bringing a peaceful forest atmosphere into your sleeping space. In a nursery, child's bedroom, or playroom, the storytelling detail of forest animals among the trees invites close looking and quiet discovery.

Because the landscape mural unfolds across a horizontal composition with grand trees framing the scene and running hares across the centre, we recommend placing it on a wider, relatively uninterrupted wall where the full woodland panorama can breathe. In a dining room or living room, keeping lower-profile furniture against the wall ensures the charming animal details along the foreground remain fully visible.

Styling it

The delicate line art and restrained, pale stone palette allow for versatile interior pairings. We would balance the softness of the mural with warm, natural textures and clean-lined furniture:

• Anchor the space with natural wood tones, such as warm oak or pale ash, which complement the woodland theme while grounding the lighter tones of the wallpaper.
• Introduce soft, tactile fabrics like unbleached linen curtains, wool throws, and neutral bouclé upholstery to enhance the layered, cosy character of the room.
• Keep surrounding decorative accents quiet and organic, choosing ceramic vases, matte stoneware, or brushed bronze lighting that echoes the refined, hand-illustrated feel of the artwork.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper is built around soft moonstone hues, pale greige, warm stone, and gentle grey-taupe tones against an off-white background.

To create a cohesive interior, we suggest painting adjacent walls and woodwork in warm, creamy whites or muted stone tones that match the background of the mural. If you prefer subtle contrast, earthy accents such as dusty sage green, soft warm taupe, or deep charcoal on trim and textiles will highlight the intricate linework while maintaining a calm, sophisticated atmosphere.
