Wallpaper - Liria Eden, Antique Olive

Designed by Marta Cortese, our Liria Eden, Antique Olive wallpaper captures a rich woodland scene filled with bounding hares, resting deer, perched birds, and delicate botanical foliage. The panoramic composition builds depth through layered silhouettes of overarching trees, ferns, and small wildflowers, framed along the base by an ornamental floral border. Set in tones of muted olive green, warm taupe, and soft parchment, the low-contrast palette creates a calm, tapestry-like feel across the wall. Our mural wallpapers are made-to-measure to fit your room dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of its continuous landscape composition and detailed wildlife motifs, we see this wall mural working particularly well on an uninterrupted feature wall in a living room, dining room, or bedroom. Placing the design behind a low sofa or a bedhead allows the upper canopy of branches, leaping hares, and flying butterflies to remain fully in view. In spaces with soft natural light or warm evening lamps, the tonal olive shades create an enveloping, grounded atmosphere that makes larger walls feel intimate and thoughtfully curated.

Styling it

We would keep the surrounding furnishings understated to let the intricate woodland story lead the room. Clean-lined mid-century pieces or classic furniture in warm woods such as walnut, teak, or stained oak sit naturally against the olive and taupe backdrop.

To complement the rich botanical details, pair the wallpaper with textured woven textiles in ecru, oatmeal, or unbleached wool. Matte bronze, antique brass, or darkened iron accents on curtain poles, lighting, or side tables echo the vintage character of the illustration without competing with the pattern.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built on deep antique olive green, muted moss tones, and soft beige-grey accents. To create a cohesive look around the mural, we suggest painting adjacent walls in a soft limestone, warm pale beige, or a gentle muted putty that picks up on the lighter deer and hare illustrations.

If you prefer a deeper, more cocooning room scheme, continuing a tonal olive or dark forest green across the woodwork, architraves, and skirting boards frames the landscape seamlessly and enhances its timeless, illustrative mood.
