Wallpaper - Rolling Meadows

Our Rolling Meadows wallpaper brings the quiet expanse of open countryside into your home. Captured by Thomas Winz, the scene features soft, rolling green hills that sweep gently beneath a clear blue sky, balanced by a wide foreground field bathed in warm golden and grassy tones. The clean horizon and smooth curves create a generous sense of depth and space on a full wall. Produced as made-to-measure mural wallpapers on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design is simple to hang and introduces an airy, nature-led backdrop to any interior.

In the room

Because the composition has an expansive horizontal flow and a low horizon, we find it works best across a wide, relatively uninterrupted wall where the smooth contour of the hills can unfold fully. It is a natural choice for a living room wall behind a sofa or an open dining space where you want to create a feeling of openness and distant horizon. In a bedroom, placing this landscape along the headboard wall brings a restful, grounded character without cluttering the visual field. The soft transition between the warm foreground meadow and the pale sky also holds its subtle tonality well under both natural daytime light and warm lamps in the evening.

Styling it

We recommend letting the clean lines of the landscape remain the primary focus of the room. Low-profile furniture with simple silhouettes, such as a low sideboard or an understated linen-upholstered bed frame, pairs naturally with the composition without breaking the horizon line.

To complement the countryside atmosphere, incorporate natural textures such as warm-toned oak, woven wool rugs, or light linen curtains. Keeping surrounding furniture relatively quiet and unpatterned allows the gentle gradient of the hills to anchor the space comfortably.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper itself combines soft meadow green, warm ochre and golden yellow in the field, moving upward into richer moss tones on the hillsides and a clear, pale cornflower blue across the sky.

When decorating around the mural, warm neutral paint colours like soft off-white, light warm greige, or pale sand on adjacent walls keep the room feeling cohesive and bright. For accents or upholstery, deeper olive greens, muted mustard tones, or subtle chambray blues echo the palette naturally without competing with the landscape.
