Wallpaper - Kangaroo Jump

Our Kangaroo Jump wallpaper brings a playful, vintage natural-history charm to the wall with illustrated kangaroos nestled among dense tropical foliage. Rendered in a soft watercolour style with 19th-century botanical illustration influences, the motif features warm earthy brown marsupials, lush leafy greens, muted coral-pink fronds, and golden-ochre accents set against a cool aquamarine blue backdrop. The repeating composition balances organic movement with narrative detail, making it an engaging choice for both lively family spaces and characterful quiet corners. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, our wallpapers are easy to hang and tailored to your dimensions.

In the room

We see Kangaroo Jump working wonderfully in spaces where its narrative detail and whimsical character can be fully appreciated. In a nursery, playroom, or child's bedroom, the lively animal motif creates a storybook backdrop without overwhelming the space, thanks to the balanced, painterly palette.

For living areas, guest bedrooms, or an entryway, we would place this mural wallpaper across a main feature wall, such as behind a low bed frame or an accent bench, allowing the intricate leaves and kangaroo figures to remain visible. In smaller spaces like a downstairs powder room or compact hallway, wrapping the pattern around multiple walls creates an immersive, lush garden feel.

Styling it

To let the detailed foliage and wildlife remain the focus, we suggest pairing this wallpaper with furniture that has clean, understated lines. Mid-century silhouettes or heritage-inspired pieces in mid-toned to warm woods, such as teak or aged oak, complement the earthy browns and golden ochre in the motif.

For textiles, simple woven cushions, plain linen bedding, or unpatterned wool throws in soft off-white, muted sage, or warm sand balance the dense visual rhythm of the foliage. Keeping surrounding decorative accents relatively quiet allows the painterly character of our wall murals to stand out naturally.

Colour combinations

The design is built around an aquamarine blue background paired with earthy tans, deep greens, dusty coral pinks, and warm golden leaves. When decorating around our wallpaper, we like echoing these shades across adjacent surfaces.

A soft, warm off-white or light stone on neighbouring walls or painted woodwork keeps the room airy and highlights the blue field. If you prefer deeper contrast, pulling out a rich foliage green or muted coral for painted trim, doors, or larger furniture pieces creates a cohesive, considered look that anchors the pattern.
