Wallpaper - Forest Grove II - Watercolor Landscape Series

Our Forest Grove II wallpaper by Wai Collective brings an imaginative, painterly forest landscape to life with a quiet nocturnal atmosphere. A large, luminous moon glows in soft yellow against a sky layered with subtle washes of purple, while tall silhouette trees in deep blues and dark greens frame a gentle waterfall and stream. Touches of orange and earthy brown lend warm autumnal nuances, grounded by expressive, fluid paint drips along the bottom of the composition. Printed to your exact dimensions, this PVC-free design features a subtle structure in the wallpaper paper and is straightforward to hang.

In the room

In a bedroom or guest room, we particularly like using this design across the wall behind the bed, where the central waterfall and glowing moon create an atmospheric visual anchor without overwhelming the rest of the space. The vertical movement of the trees and descending water also works beautifully on taller walls in a living room, library, or dedicated study, giving the impression of an expansive forest clearing. Because the pattern relies on painterly washes and deep contrasts, it benefits from an uninterrupted wall area where the full landscape can unfold without tall cupboards or high shelving fragmenting the scene.

Styling it

We recommend balancing the fluid, artistic character of our mural wallpapers with simple, structured furniture. Clean Scandinavian lines or contemporary bohemian pieces in warm natural wood complement the golden ochre and brown accents in the motif, keeping the overall interior grounded. To let the landscape remain the primary focus, keep larger upholstery in understated solid fabrics, allowing the deep indigo and moss green tones in the wallpaper to carry the decorative weight of the room.

Colour combinations

The artwork combines deep forest greens and midnight blues with soft purple sky washes, luminous yellow, and warm splashes of orange and terracotta. For surrounding walls and woodwork, muted off-whites or soft greys maintain a light, airy contrast against the deeper tones of the forest. If you prefer a moodier, more enveloping palette, picking out the deep navy or forest green for adjacent woodwork, trims, or low-profile cabinetry creates a sophisticated, cohesive backdrop.
