Wallpaper - Whisper Shoreline II

In our Whisper Shoreline II wallpaper by June Erica Vess, broad, expressive brushwork captures the quiet atmosphere of a coastal horizon. The composition balances an open, airy sky in soft sky blue and pale cloud tones against a textured shoreline built from charcoal grey, stony taupe, soft sand, and touches of blush beige. What we particularly appreciate about this mural wallpaper is its painterly visual movement, where fluid strokes give the impression of water and rock without becoming visually heavy. Printed as a made-to-measure, PVC-free wall mural, it introduces subtle paper structure alongside a generous, tranquil sense of scale.

In the room

We see Whisper Shoreline II working exceptionally well across a wider, uninterrupted wall where its horizontal landscape format can fully unfold. In a living room or behind a bed in a main bedroom, the expansive sky at the top keeps the upper wall light and open, while the darker rocky tones anchor the lower section naturally behind lower-profile furniture. Because the visual weight sits primarily along the lower horizon, you can place a sofa, low console, or headboard against it without losing the sweeping feeling of the composition. In a tranquil dining area or a dedicated home study, it brings an artistic, expansive presence that avoids visual clutter.

Styling it

To complement the painterly character of the design, we recommend choosing furniture with clean silhouettes and natural finishes. Low-slung seating upholstered in neutral, textured weaves pairs naturally with the fluid movement in the mural. Lighter wood tones like pale ash, natural birch, or whitewashed oak echo the sandy elements in the lower composition without competing with the darker slate brushwork. For accent details, subtle stone or ceramic pieces in matte chalk or slate grey help ground the coastal palette, while keeping decorative objects understated to let the wall remain the focal point.

Colour combinations

The design itself features soft cerulean and sky blue, misty white, stony grey, warm sand, and quiet blush-beige undertones. Around it, we suggest continuing the palette with soft off-whites or chalky pale greys on neighbouring walls and woodwork to maintain an airy feel. If you want to introduce deeper grounding contrast, furniture or architectural accents in deep charcoal or coastal slate mirror the rocky shoreline tones effectively. Muted sand and warm taupe textiles also provide an easy, harmonious way to pull the beachy warmth into the rest of the space.
