Wallpaper - Mission Cement Tiles, Sand

Our Mission Cement Tiles, Sand wallpaper brings the visual character of heritage encaustic tiles to your walls through a balanced, symmetrical pattern. The motif combines soft mint green and warm sand-beige tones within an ornate geometric framework, featuring floral motifs and circular centres enclosed by subtle diamond framing. Shaded line work and weathered visual texture give the flat surface a dimensional, crafted feel reminiscent of classic Mediterranean and Regency tilework. Printed as made-to-measure, PVC-free wall murals with a subtle structure in the paper, our wallpapers are straightforward to hang and bring architectural rhythm to residential interiors.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well in spaces where you want the decorative structure of tilework without visual heaviness. In a powder room or bathroom, wrapping multiple walls in this repeat creates a coherent, finished feel that anchors smaller proportions. The balanced geometry also makes it a great choice for a dedicated accent wall behind a freestanding washstand or mirror. Because the repeating tile grid provides its own visual order, it sits comfortably on walls interrupted by doors, windows, or panelled wainscoting without losing the clarity of its pattern.

Styling it

To balance the ornamental rhythm of the tile motif, we suggest pairing this wallpaper with relatively clean-lined fixtures and quiet materials. Smooth porcelain, unadorned mirrors, and simple painted cabinetry allow the geometric repeat to remain the focal point of the space. Brushed brass or warm bronze brassware complements the earthy sand tones in the background, while matt black hardware offers a sharper, graphic contrast against the mint detailing.

Colour combinations

The design centres on a soft palette of muted mint green and neutral sand-beige, accented with quiet cream and soft grey shading. For adjacent painted walls, cornices, or woodwork, warm off-whites and pale sand tones keep the surrounding room bright and cohesive. If you prefer to draw out the subtle colour in the motif, a muted sage or soft pistachio on doors or lower panelling ties in naturally with the green details.
