Created by Laura Marshall, our Blooms wallpaper brings together soft watercolour-style washes, organic botanical line drawings, and graphic mark-making across a bright, open background. We particularly like how the warm coral, earthy ochre, terracotta, and deep mauve patches interact with finer details like delicate golden-toned foliage, grid crosshatching, and playful dot clusters. The composition has an expressive, collage-like character that feels artistic and layered without becoming overwhelming. Like all our wall murals, this design is custom made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

In a living room or creative home studio, our Blooms mural wallpapers work exceptionally well across a primary feature wall where the varied shapes and graphic linework have plenty of space to breathe. Because the motifs are distributed organically over an off-white ground, the pattern maintains a light and airy presence even on larger surfaces. In rooms with ample daylight, the subtle tonal shifts within the watercolour-like shapes stand out with lovely clarity, while softer lamplight in the evening brings out the warmer coral and terracotta tones.

Styling it

To complement the expressive, layered nature of our design, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture relatively calm and grounded. Simple contemporary silhouettes in warm wood tones, such as mid-tone oak, balance the fluid organic shapes nicely. You can also pick up on the fine black grid accents by incorporating slender black metal elements in floor lamps, side tables, or picture frames, which grounds the softer pastel shapes and anchors the room.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper centres on earthy coral, peach, burnt orange, and muted burgundy-mauve, highlighted by deep charcoal linework and shimmering gold-toned botanical details against a crisp off-white base. For surrounding walls and woodwork, warm off-whites, pale blush, or soft linen neutrals create a seamless and cohesive backdrop. If you prefer more contrast, a deep charcoal, rich terracotta, or muted warm plum drawn from the darker watercolor washes makes a confident accent colour for adjacent surfaces or cabinetry.
