Wallpaper - Catkins

Designed by Deborah Revell, our Catkins wallpaper features delicate black branches adorned with small buds and hanging catkins set against an eggshell white background. A slender, painterly yellow-ochre line runs horizontally across the upper composition, complemented by gentle washes of pale blue and soft yellow that lend an artistic, canvas-like visual texture. This minimalist botanical wall mural balances fine ink-like linework with generous negative space, creating a calm and contemplative atmosphere in the home. Like all our wallpapers, it is custom made-to-measure and PVC-free.

In the room

We find this design works exceptionally well in living rooms and quiet spaces such as dedicated meditation rooms or reading corners. Because the branches cascade down from the upper portion and leave ample open space below, it makes an ideal backdrop behind low-profile furniture like a sofa, credenza, or daybed. On an uninterrupted feature wall, the fine organic silhouettes and delicate horizontal stripe have room to stretch out without feeling crowded. The light, airy background keeps the room open and uncluttered, while the high-contrast black line work provides a clear, grounding focal point.

Styling it

The restrained botanical motif pairs naturally with Japandi, minimalist, and contemporary interiors that celebrate simplicity and balance. We would combine this wallpaper with furniture featuring clean, low lines and understated silhouettes to let the delicate branch work remain the visual focus.
