Wallpaper - Peony in Pink

Our Peony in Pink wallpaper, created by Krystal Adams, centres on a large, expressive peony bloom rendered in a painterly, hand-painted look. Set against a soft blush pink backdrop, the bloom features layered brushstrokes ranging from pale pastel pink and blush to deep magenta, raspberry, and hints of warm apricot at the centre, anchored by fresh green leaves and a delicate stem. What we particularly like about this design is its bold floral presence balanced by a gentle, painterly charm. Produced made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical paper structure, this floral wallpaper brings an artistic focal point to any space.

In the room

Because the peony forms a striking, central focal point, we see this wall mural working particularly well on a main feature wall where the entire bloom has space to breathe. In a bedroom, placing it directly behind a headboard creates an inviting, decorative backdrop that frames the bed naturally. It also works beautifully in a dressing room, creative home office, or guest bedroom where you want to introduce colour and visual warmth without overwhelming the room. In rooms with soft daylight, the subtle tonal variations within the petals and the light pink background feel especially luminous.

Styling it

To let the expressive floral motif take centre stage, we suggest keeping the surrounding furniture relatively calm and understated:

• Choose painted furniture in creamy off-white or soft muted tones, or pair with light, natural wood finishes that reflect the airy quality of the artwork.
• Introduce tactile textiles such as washed linen bedding, soft wool throws, or velvet cushions in muted rose, plum, or moss green to echo the colours found in the petals and foliage.
• Complement the design with simple, elegant accents in matte brass or brushed gold to bring a warm touch that harmonises with the floral palette.

Colour combinations

Our wallpaper combines a gentle blush pink ground with deep raspberry, magenta, pale pink, peach, and leafy greens. For surrounding walls and woodwork, we recommend pairing it with soft warm whites, muted chalky pinks, or light taupe to maintain a light and cohesive atmosphere. If you prefer a richer, more defined contrast on trim, doors, or adjacent furniture, deep plum, berry tones, or a rich forest green drawn from the stem and leaves will ground the space beautifully.
